Almost all the accommodations you’ll find in this area of Indonesia are “Homestays”, usually managed by the same owners/family. They will provide you with food and manage all the transfers and activities*.
These are simple accommodations, with few hours of electricity a day, and without great luxuries neither WIFI, but with a lot of soul. You can find small overwater bungalows or huts right at the beach shore where you can experience the nature and local living really close and you can also share experiences with other adventurers.
